Job SummaryProvide nursing care and management to patients. As well as guide and direct junior nurses and nursing students to ensure that the best care is provided. Responsible for competently providing safe and effective care to patients and families.˙Job Responsibilities 1Establish and implements nursing guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures to align with Qatar Health Practices and International Standards.Plans and organizes orientation and in-service training for unit staff members, and participates in guidance and educational programs.Ensure quality standards of the highest degree in nursing activities.Coach new staff nurses and nursing students in their learning activities.Deliver evidence-based care with various teams.Develop care plans to allow patients and their family members and caregivers to participate in their own health management.Guide junior nurses to develop specialized health education plans.Job Responsibilities 2Manage admission, transfer and discharge of patients.Manage emergency activities in medical emergencies.Monitor error reports and develop strategies to improve patient safety practices.Participate in clinical risk and quality improvements.Partner with various teams to implement recommended quality improvement plans.Recognise early signs of deterioration in patients conditions with physiological assessments.Review clinical performance of nursing students and new nurses.Use available benchmarks to review patient safety practices.
