We strive for excellence in every dish we serve, and our team is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of quality and innovation.Position Overview:We are seeking a talented and experienced Assistant Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. The Assistant Pastry Chef will be responsible for executing a variety of Japanese-inspired desserts and pastries that complement our menu offerings. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pastry arts, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to innovate while adhering to traditional Japanese culinary techniques.Responsibilities:

  • Production and preparation of all pastry items, ensuring consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to incorporate seasonal ingredients and innovative techniques into dessert offerings.
  • Manage inventory and ordering of pastry ingredients, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Maintain a clean and organized pastry kitchen, adhering to sanitation and hygiene regulations at all times.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and new pastry techniques, incorporating relevant innovations into menu development.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a restaurant or pastry shop.
  • Strong knowledge of Japanese pastry techniques and ingredients is preferred.
  • Creativity and ability to develop unique dessert recipes while respecting Japanese culinary traditions.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering consistently high-quality pastry items.
  • Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.
