Job Description

DP World launched CARGOES Finance Platform, bringing in the financial institutions and buyer/seller together on one platform that satisfies the most important need of the business which is working capital. CARGOES Finance covers cross border pre/post shipment finance and logistics finance constitutes invoice discounting and invoice factoring. The main purpose of the role is to conduct Credit due diligence, underwriting, approval, monitoring and recoveries of clients interested in Trade Finance with DPWFS. The incumbent will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts while adhering to the credit policy and processes in place. The Assistant Manager needs to ensure that there are no surprises and resulting credit losses in the portfolio allocated.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Specific responsibilities include:
  1. Credit due diligence on Trade Finance borrowers for management, financial, industry and business risk
  2. Identifying credit and operational risks in trade finance documentation for a broad range of trade related transactions, including receivables & payables financing, import/export financing, invoice discounting/factoring, commodity trade financing, inventory financing, buy-sell transactions and risk participation (funded & unfunded).
  3. Understanding and analysis of financial statements, early warning and collections
  4. Ensuring compliance with DP Worlds internal policies, processes and procedures.
  5. Pro-actively manage portfolio risk exposure, collections, remediation and recoveries.
  6. Identify key risks, and drive alignment on risk mitigation actions.
  7. Interacting with external service providers (risk consultants, recovery agents, insurance companies, brokers, etc.)
  8. Assisting the relevant transactions/cases to ensure credit risk support and innovative solutions are provided in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  9. Review of term sheet and vetting of loan related documentation with borrowers.
• Act as an ambassador for DP World at all times when working promoting and demonstrating positive behavioursin harmony withDP Worlds Principles, valuesand culture ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities understanding and following DP Worlds Code of Conduct and Ethics policies
• Perform other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

• Bachelors / Post Graduate degree from a University of repute.
• 5+ years of credit risk experience in Financial Institutions FinTech, Banks or Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFC)
• Knowledge of trade finance credit risk management.
• Experience with cross border transactions and corresponding risk implications.
• Ability to detect, assess and mitigate credit risk.
• Appreciation of the Companys commercial interests and those of its clients.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical, problem solving and organization skills
• Keen attention to detail, adaptability and pragmatism ability to manage an active caseload and prioritize effectively.
• Self-driven, results-oriented with a proven track record in credit & risk matters.
• The right candidate will be able to work under pressure, be highly result-oriented, deal with high volumes of work and be highly agile in leading credit aspects of a fast-growing trade finance business
