Where operations necessitate niche or technically complex project scopes in harsh environments, JF Subtech is the trusted partner for critical expertise in safe, efficient, and effective delivery.About the RoleWe are looking for a Commercial Manager to join the team and play a critical role in leading and managing all commercial activities related to diving projects and operations in the Energy sector.You will be overseeing commercial strategy, contract negotiations, financial analysis, risk assessment, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.We are looking for commercial management experience and ideally someone whos worked in a similar industry.The role will be based in our office in Dubai.Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of the commercial strategy.
  • Support potential business opportunities, market trends, and competitor activities to enhance the divisions market positioning in the region.
  • Manage the tendering process, including bid preparation, submission, and evaluation, ensuring compliance with tender requirements and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive and competitive tender responses.
  • Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favourable terms and conditions that mitigate risks and optimise profitability whilst ensuring alignment to local and Group Delegation of Authority.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to review and finalise contracts, ensuring compliance.
  • Conduct financial analysis to assess project feasibility, pricing strategies, and cost estimations.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to develop project budgets and support project managers with financial performance.
  • Identify and evaluate potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
  • Implement risk management practices to minimise financial and operational exposure.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external and internal parties, ensuring successful project delivery and business growth.
  • Primary contact for clients and their expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry requirements.
  • Ensure compliance and management of tenders and contracts on the sales CRM tools.
The Candidate
  • Bachelor degree in business administration, finance, engineering, or related field.
  • Extensive experience in commercial and contract management within the Marine and Contracting Division in the Oil and Gas industry with focus on diving projects.
  • Strong understanding of commercial, financial, and legal aspects of project management and contract negotiations.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with financial analysing and budgeting.
  • Proactive and self-motivated individual.
  • Great attention to detail and prioritising skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of a high performing team and prioritise tasks in a dynamic and challenging environment.
