Job Description

Job PurposeMaintain an accurate track of airworthiness tasks for each aircraft in the Emirates Flight Training Academy fleet to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory and manufacturer requirements.Job Outline:- Maintain accurate records of the Emirates Flight Training Academy fleet. Manage the administration of changes/ modifications to existing aircraft and technical data, and follow up on technical aspects of the review process.- Track status of phase maintenance tasks and deferred defects to ensure aircrafts remain in compliance with continuing airworthiness requirements.- Support Continuing Airworthiness Officer in terms of Airworthiness functions and ensure EFTA fleet is within the qualitative airworthiness standards.- Provide technical and administration support to the maintenance department team to ensure smooth EFTA Maintenance Operations. Support the maintenance team through preperation of work orders, and control of work orders through manager maintenance and work order closure.- Monitor the technical data used within the organization including company documents and manufacturer publications, including renewal of subscriptions and distribution to copy holders.- Liaise and co-ordinate with maintenance department team for GCAA examinations, license renewals, and other required follow-up. Prepare and ensure management approval of Engineering Orders, Special Engineering Work Cards, Job Cards etc prior to inclusion in aircraft work orders.- Make complete and accurate entries in the aircraft records within a timely manner including all required entries in the aircraft log books, records of Airworthiness Directives, and other airworthiness authority requirements.- Collate and send aircraft technical data required to be provided to customer airlines to support training operations of their cadets and ensure the mass and balance records remain current and up to date.Qualifications & ExperienceFlight Operations.Other :: 12 yrs schooling or equivalent in Engineering (Prefarably Aeronautical Engineering) 4+ Years in Engineering (Prefarably in Continuing Airworthiness Environment) Knowledge/skills: Ability to understand technical contents of communication between Engineering and suppliers Proven track record in Microsoft Office Packages. Knowledge of aircraft systems and aircraft documentation.
