Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Costumer Designer to join the IIQAF team. In this role, you will help create the total image of the characters and scenes in the film and television projects produced at IIQAF. We are looking for a creative and organized individual who is passionate about costuming and has experience in wardrobe design and styling. This is a full-time position that requires an in-depth knowledge of costuming and design techniques as well as excellent organizational and communication skills.Responsibilities

  • Work with the director/production team to create custom costuming designs and translate the directors vision into tangible garments.
  • Collaborate with staff including costume makers, wardrobe staff and fashion designers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of costumes.
  • Research current and historical fashion trends, designs, materials and techniques to be considered for all costumes.
  • Source and procure fabrics, accessories, and other materials needed for costuming projects.
  • Create sketches and renderings to present concepts to supervisors and key personnel.
  • Work within budget requirements and time constraints while meeting all deadlines.
  • Review and maintain inventory of costuming materials/supplies
Qualifications
  • 1 years of relevant experience in costume designing for film/television.
  • Expert knowledge of current fashion trends, fabrics, materials, and techniques.
  • Strong artistic and creative skills with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to stay on budget and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
