We are keen to onboard professionals who are knowledgeable and visionary disruptors to fortify our mission.We are looking for a Design Director to lead our Design Team, whos obsessed about building intuitive, paradigm-shifting, unapologetically engaging customer experiences. You will have the vision and the background to define the end-to-end product line up at the very strategic level. You will be able to lead and inspire the team to operate into an agile environment following top-notch design methodology. You will lead by example and mentor younger designers. You will work in harmony with all the different functions and lead a multidisciplinary team. With experience in managing people, you will enjoy being involved in the day to day whilst always maintaining a broader view of the bigger picture.Responsibilities

• Lead concept development concerning design and creative outputs
• Take a lead role in managing the design and creative elements of projects and be the point of contact for creative projects
• Commercial accountability through accurate scoping and quoting of work
• Develop and manage productivity and to continuously improve the design teams production capabilities
• Lead the team and facilitate our digital product vision by designing wireframe, sketch, prototype, and mock-ups
• Influence design-led thinking across the business
• Ensure that design and creative projects are delivered on time and to budget ensuring commercial success
• Work with internal teams to generate ideas for pitching and proposals
• Provide quality control over design outputs and production
• Establish and develop best practice with the design team
• Work with other team members to deliver projects and deliver against deadlines

Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

• MSc in Design, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• Experience with the KSA market.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in the field, preferably within tech sector.
• Fluent in Arabic.
• Adept design experience for multiple digital devices (web, mobile & wearables)
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery and other design languages
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams in understanding detailed requirements and aligning the needs to the product vision
• In-depth knowledge in user experience standards
• Excited to follow the latest user experience industry trends and technologies
• Seasoned in testing usability and accessibility concerns
• Open to constructive feedback
• The ability to storyboard or translate ideas to designers and others, influencing external and internal stakeholders
• Can articulate design processes, ideas, and solution to the team
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop colleagues
• Experience designing with international languages and complex product requirements is desirable
• Background in project management and research is desirable
• Adept problem solver with critical thinking skills and strong business acumen
• Excellent communication skills
