Job Description

Our client provides commercial solutions and services to senior leaders across the Middle East events landscape, specializing in venue hosting deals, sponsorship deals, concept development, commercial strategy, and event impact assessment. We are seeking a Finance Manager to join their team and oversee financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning.Responsibilities:Financial Operations:

  • Oversee and manage all financial operations to ensure the integrity of financial transactions.
  • Handle day-to-day financial tasks and ensure efficient financial processes.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Develop and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to assist in strategic planning and decision-making.
Financial Reporting:
  • Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly and quarterly management accounts.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to senior management and the board of directors.
Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of IFRS standards and ensure adherence.
Internal Controls:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls and procedures.
  • Document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
Cash Flow Management:
  • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.
  • Optimize cash management and working capital.
External Liaison:
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Coordinate the audit process and ensure timely resolution of audit issues.
Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with KSA and UAE financial regulations and laws.
  • Manage Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and ensure accuracy and compliance.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar financial management role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and management principles.
  • Excellent knowledge of KSA & UAE financial regulations and laws.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
  • Experience in the events or commercial advisory industry is a plus.
