Working across the Middle East, North Africa, and Asia, GMG has introduced more than 120 brands into its markets.About the Role:To maintain high level of Food safety standards across the business through effective implementation and monitoring of HACCP Food Safety Management System and contribute to continual improvement to achieve Organizational goals and objectives.Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development & implementation of HACCP Food Safety management system, programs, and processes.
  • Maintain an appropriate level of awareness and knowledge across the store employees to create a Food Safety culture that prioritizes effective processes and balances overall associated costs.
  • Plan and conduct Food Safety internal audit for store operations and related activities & ensure implementation of action plans.
  • Deliver various levels of food safety trainings internally, identify and coordinate external trainings to ensure employee awareness and regulatory compliance. Analyze Training effectiveness and maintain relevant training records.. Conduct investigations to identify root cause during the event of food safety related customer complaints, regulatory inspections etc. Ensure implementation of timely corrective and preventive actions.. Develop new food safety procedures, guidelines, and manuals as per business requirements.. Conduct supplier evaluation for all existing high-risk suppliers and approval audits for new suppliers to ensure source safety.. Conduct Periodic Risk assessment / Hazard analysis when introducing new product or process.. Analyze trends and occurrences & prepare monthly performance Report for Management update.. Maintain regular contact with regulatory bodies to remain up to date with new requirements and on- time implementation of the same in business.
Required skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Food Technology / Food Science/ Microbiology
  • At least3 years of relevant experience in similar role
  • Level - 4 Food Safety Certification
  • HACCP Internal Auditor
  • DM (Dubai Municipality) Approved Internal Trainer
