Key Responsibilities of the Head Barista:- Support and assist in the smooth running of the food & beverage outlet, where all aspects of the guest food & beverage service experience are delivered to the highest levels, ensuring both property and company standards are attained and adhered to.-Lead and collaborate with the team to maximize guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and responsive approach to enquiries and problem resolution.-Support and deliver on the strategies and objectives of the food service department taking ownership for assigned areas of responsibility and deputizing for the Head of Department in their absence.-With the Head of Department take a leadership role in fostering a culture of growth, development and performance expected by the company. -Collaborates with the Head of Department, ensuring that departmental inventory is maintained, that productivity targets are achieved and performance levels are attained-Builds and maintains effective working relationships with all key stakeholders and partners both internal and external ensuring all communications and activities are controlled and undertaken in a timely manner.-Ensures adherence and compliance to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered and documented for internal and external audit, performing follow-up as requiredRequirements of the Head Barista:-Proven Experience in a food and beverage position, ideally within a hotel environment-Hands-on approach with a can-do work style-Good leadership skills with a hands-on approach and lead-by-example work style-Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry-Ability to find creative solutions taking ownership for duties and tasks assigned-Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence-Experience of working with IT systems on various platforms, MS Office, especially in Excel-Ability to handle multiple challenging priorities and assignments-Strong communication skills and listening skillsYou will be redirected to the company website to apply for this position.
