Job Description

Our ClientCurrently hiring an Infrastructure Director with a Digital Technology Company in UAE.Your responsibilities will include

• Lead a team of talented engineers responsible for creating robust, highly available applications hosted across multiple cloud environments..
• Drive the planning, development, and implementation of all cloud hosting technologies and associated best practices.
• Oversee the development of operational guidelines, infrastructure, and tools necessary to support our application portfolio. Foster cross-training among teams for enhanced proficiency.
• Provide strategic and architectural guidance, influencing development teams to realize our technology vision across company platforms and services.
• Supervise operational and service management processes for our cloud platform to achieve quality, security, efficiency, and agility objectives.
• Act as the escalation point for all production incidents on managed applications, ensuring timely incident resolution.
• Own, operate, and maintain stakeholder services. Implement Agile methodologies for continuous customer value delivery and establish an on-call incident escalation and response process for the team.
• Instigate best practices to ensure high-quality, well-architected, and supportable code. Lead architecture design and coding reviews and foster a Continuous Integration environment.
• Serve as the technical owner of our companys platform, resolving roadblocks and managing communications with stakeholders and dependent teams. Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement through retrospection.
• Empower engineers to achieve higher levels of productivity, reliability, and scalability.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Hands-on leadership experience with 5+ years of technical expertise in architecting and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS and multi-cloud environments.
• Proficiency in automation, orchestration, configuration management tools, containers, NoSQL databases, monitoring tools, CI/CD tools, and application security.
• Familiarity with telecom protocols (e.g., SMPP and SIP), Kubernetes, drone CI, Git, AWS, F5, Ansible, Terraform, and Python.
• Fluent in English with exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Software, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical skills to translate customer requirements into functional specifications.
• Adaptability to work in a dynamic environment where requirements and priorities may evolve frequently.
• Exceptional attention to detail while maintaining a strategic perspective.
• Ability to collaborate extensively with offshore teams on a daily basis
