In keeping with Regent?s rich heritage and time-tested education, ournew secondary school will empower children to develop the confidence and skillsto think big, be bold, and dare to change the world.Job Purpose: Therole of the Learning Support Assistant (LSA) is to provide support to Students& Staff in the Early Years & Primary Phases of the School. The LearningSupport Assistant will support the teachers in enhancing the effectiveinvolvement of students in their academic and social development.Reporting To: ClassTeacherResponsibilities:? Support & workalongside Teachers planning to support students learning.? Preparing thelearning environment under the direction of the Teacher i.e preparingclassrooms materials, equipment & supplies.? Monitor, maintain& review records of student progress and provide support based on theirneeds.? Support theteachers during field trips, group activities, sports events or other eventsetc.? Support specificgroups of students in lessons so that they may access learning at their ownpace.Job Specification:? An ?Outstanding? teacher with at least 2years of experience working in an international school.? The candidate should hold a degree i.e.,B.Ed. or a B.A or equivalent.? Proficient and experienced at teaching Arabicto native & non-native students at FS2, Key Stages 1,2, 3 & 4, GCSE /IGCSE, and Key Stage 5 (A/A2/AS Levels via Edexcel, AQA and CIE);? Candidates? qualifications will need to beattested by the UAE Embassy in the country of qualification including theattestation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Dubai. In addition, thecandidates qualifications will need to go through the equivalisation process.? Fluent in Arabicand English speakers available to work from 7 am ? 4.30pm.? Strong work ethicsalong with a commitment to staff & student privacy.? Good organisationaland interpersonal skills.? Strong written& oral communication skills in English? Knowledge of otherlanguages is an advantage? Candidates applyingfor this position MUST be sponsored by their spouse/father as this is a localcontract therefore there are no additional benefits other than all schoolholidays as per academic year.Start Date: August 2022
