Through our customer-centric, vendor-agnostic approach and comprehensive suite of IT services offerings including Data Centre and Contact Centre outsourcing solutions, we are enabling large enterprises and government entities to realise the benefits of the cloud by simplifying the complexity of cloud and accelerating its adoption.Websitehttps://www.eandenterprise.comRole: Manager - Financial Reporting & ControlPrincipal Functions (Major Areas of Responsibility):Under general supervision of the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for general accounting functions including preparing journal entries, trial balance, account analysis, maintaining balance sheet schedules and ledgers and account and bank reconciliations in accordance with IFRS and company policy. Responsible for implementation and full ownership of new ERP.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintains the integrity of the general ledger including the preparation, verification, and input of journal entries. Prepares analysis of accounts as requested. Prepares month-end and year-end closings, and annual financial statement accounts of profit and loss statement, balance sheet and cashflow. Manages intercompany eliminations and transfer pricing with other entities and Group. Works closely with Account Payables and Receivables to record, reconciliation, and settlement of all financial transactions with timeliness, accuracy and veracity. Reviews and validates all trial balances and new ledger accounts together with journal entries. Reports in a monthly basis financial position to external and internal stakeholders and management of the company. Manages accuracy of Fixed Assets and Inventory registers and assures their match to reality. Prepares and remits quarterly VAT submission to Federal tax Authority. Prepares Corporate tax submission. Ensures the application of accounting control systems and other contingency measures to assure data veracity. Arguments the financial results with the auditors as well as any other necessary finance-related interaction with them. Implements all legal and audit requirements as well as IRFS standards and assures the compliance across all teams. Implements processes and tools to cover all legal and audit requirements and focuses on automation to improve efficiency and minimizes human error across transactional processes. Leads the implementation of Oracle Fusion ERP.Key Performance Indicators: Accuracy and timely of General Ledger monthly closure. Number of issues addressed in the Management Letter from the auditors. Implementation of ERP within deadlines.Required Experience, Knowledge and Skills: Minimum 9-11 years experience preferably in telecom/ ICT sector. Qualified Chartered Accountant preferably CA, ACCA. Solid understanding of IFRS accounting standards. Hands-on knowledge of Oracle Fusion ERP preferably with implementation experience. Thorough knowledge and demonstrated skills in annual audit. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Google applications preferred. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, interpersonal skills, problem solving skills and a strong team player. Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize work to meet deadlines. Critical, analytical, and creative thinking to identify and solve problems.
