Job Description

ResponsibilitiesProviding strategic direction Providing strategic and operational input and expertise, for operational strategy and future service deliveryEstablishing consolidated operational plans aligned with the strategic plan of SEHA and ensuring the key result areas are defined in the plan and metOverseeing the development of the business and service plans for the groupMonitoring day to day activities Measuring and managing the group?s performance and providing senior management with group management reportsContributing to the development of strategic, annual and business planning processes, incorporating a collaborative approach with other senior officialsSupporting and participating in the development of facility frameworks, policies and proceduresMaintaining a close awareness of best practice and industry standards in the different functional areas and developing the division towards these benchmarksFinancial planning and budgeting Developing/assisting in developing a clear development strategy and annual plan for the divisionAssisting direct reports in establishing strategic plan, goals and objectives and providing leadership for their implementationDeveloping division annual budget and business planManaging the division?s financial plans and budgets and taking corrective action when necessaryDeveloping, recommending and reporting on internal budget for reporting departmentsMaintaining client service standards Providing support to clients through the development of new programs reflecting best global and regional practices Providing consultative services to the facilitys leadership and employees on all related matters, including involvement in actual working of the department for monitoring the customer service levelsManaging relationships Interfacing with third party insurers and negotiating billing (with Finance Division)Developing and maintaining relationships with customers and senior stakeholders and promoting the reputation of facility servicesLiaising and collaborating with Chief Operating Officer and counterparts in the facilityEnsuring regular liaison with other corporate divisions in order to provide appropriate specialist functional supportSupporting the development and implementation of cross-division coordination mechanisms and information sharingManaging the team Advising, supporting and challenging employees on performance and decisions including the appropriate identification, management and mitigation of riskEnsuring staff are motivated, developed and managed so that individual and collective performance meets the needs of facility patients and stakeholdersWorking with the Directors , to identify and nurture leadership potential and talentDeveloping a high performing team of Managers who work to key performance indicators and who are held accountable in terms of deliveryFulfilling committee involvement Providing input and guidance on operational matters and on operational decisionsimpacting clients and stakeholders of the facilityQualificationsQualification :-Special Certificate:-Required :8-10 years of relevant experience of which minimum 5 years progressive leadership responsibility in a large organizationDesired :Experience in a large healthcare facility
