Job Description

OptometristJob Location: United Arab EmiratesResponsibilities:•Welcome, greet, and provide excellent customer service in a genuine and friendly manner to all customers from the moment they enter the store.•Conduct eye exams (including RTA eye tests) using optometric equipment and general diagnostic interpretation.•Prescribe, fit, and adjust eyeglasses, contact lenses, and recommend appropriate vision care.•Operate other optical equipment for eye health diagnostic and consultation.•Handle medical insurance claims and other documentation.•Collect and record relevant customer information in the CRM system.•Ensure all customer inquiries and complaints are handled promptly and in a professional way and escalated to senior team members if needed.•Keep the eye test room, equipment, and tools in perfect condition, clean and organised.•Participate, whenever needed, in inventory/stock management and aftersales procedures.•Participate in relevant training and comply with the company’s operational standards.Requirements:•Optometry degree and valid HAAD license.•5+ years of experience as an optometrist in the UAE.•In-depth knowledge and applied understanding of best practices in optometry and related diagnostic.•Strong interpersonal skills to ensure flawless customer experience – in person, over the phone, and through email.•Excellent communication skills and English language abilities.•Willingness to learn and continuously develop professional competency.•Confidence, professionalism, and teamwork at all times.
