Job Description

Job description Day-to-day responsibilities include drawing up work schedules and budgets, delegating tasks, analysing project specifications and finding cost-effective ways to meet them, liaising with contractors and suppliers, managing resources, and communicating with surveyors, managers, and other engineers. You should be able to analyse data, write reports, and deliver presentations to various stakeholders. Demonstrate a sound knowledge of the relevant engineering discipline and be able to anticipate problems. Developing a project master schedule, updating, monitoring, and reviewing contractor construction schedules, submittals, material deliveries, procurement logs, and daily follow-up, in addition to the necessary productivity measurement studies and associated corrective measures. Addressing all planning requirements for assigned projects Provide assessment of Extension of Time claims using all delay analyses. Provide support for the establishment of project resource schedules Planning engineers help engineering teams deliver projects on schedule. They develop strategies, determine material and labour costs, monitor crew performance, and that communications channels are open. Planning engineers also interpret data, compile reports, and deliver presentations when required. Understanding project specifications and developing time schedules and budgets that meet them. Monitoring and tracking project progress, and writing up reports. Attending and scheduling meetings as required. Delegating tasks and ensuring workers receive feedback. Understanding and meeting all contract requirements. Communicating with managers, supervisors, and the rest of the team. Analysing technical drawings and providing material and cost estimates. Ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budgets. Planning Engineer Requirements: Civil Engineering Degree at least. Minimum 10 Years Experience UAE. Proficiency in MS Office. Planning and project management skills. Strong multitasking abilities. Strong analytical, critical, and logical thinking skills. Ability to focus under pressure and meet deadlines.
