The Khalifa Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (KCGEB, Al Ain, UAE) and Department of Biology at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) are seeking applications for a full-time Postdoctoral Fellow. The successful candidate will be offered a two-year position further extendable depending on funding availability and performance. We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Postdoctoral Researcher to join our interdisciplinary research team focused on soil-plant-microbial interactions analysis using multi-omics approaches. The successful candidate will work primarily on analyzing soil, plant, and microbial samples using metabarcoding and metagenome approaches. Minimum Qualification . PhD in Soil Science, Microbiology, Ecology, or a related field . Experience in using multi-omics approaches, particularly metabarcoding and metagenome analysis . Knowledge of bioinformatics tools and statistical analysis software R for processing and analyzing sequencing data . Strong written and verbal communication skills . Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. . Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. . Experience with plant-microbial interactions analysis and experimental design . Experience in microbial ecology and/or soil microbial communities analysis . Publications in peer-reviewed journals Preferred Qualification . PhD in Soil Science, Microbiology, Ecology, or a related field .
