The current portfolio of EMEA Luxury hotels includes 28 open hotels opened and close to 20 in the pipeline.Position StatementThe Senior Manager, Luxury Brands, Middle East & Africa reports to the Senior Director, Luxury Brands, EMEA. You will help lead, plan and execute the Luxury brand strategy in the region. This role will require the incumbent to make strong progress against the completion of all brand strategies and initiatives and drive performance against key indicators.What will I be doingThe Senior Manager, Luxury Brands, Middle East & Africa will partner with the Luxury leadership team to implement strategic initiatives to realize our short, medium, and long-term performance objectives. You will support the day-to-day execution of prioritized brand initiatives and will support the team by developing recommendations and resources, delivering programming, engaging properties, and ensuring successful execution for brand initiatives and implementation. You will directly support properties in leveraging all brand programs and resources and delivering an exceptional luxury brand experience. The successful candidate will be comfortable using the company matrixed organization in an effective and efficient way to drive progress.Additional scope of this role includes but is not limited to, responsibility for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:. Supporting Waldorf Astoria, Conrad and LXR-branded hotels to implement and leverage brand programs and resources.. Serving as the front-line contact on questions related to brand initiatives, including but not limited to brand standards, brand activities, brand positioning and alignment, guest experience.. Setting up and maintaining systems and tools to ensure that all questions raised are being tracked and replied to in a timely and flawless manner. This includes follow-up on pending topics as well as pro-active support to stakeholders/partners. Proactively identifies ways to improve hotel support and internal processes.. Analyzing portfolio data to assess current performance and support the development and execution of action plans to achieve brand goals. Preparing performance reports on individual hotels or portfolio as needed.. Monitoring hotel performance against key indicators and identifying areas of improvement (including but not limited to commercial, guest experience, Hilton Honors).. Providing pro-active support to bottom performing hotels, including on-site visits as needed.. Ensuring brand standards are understood and implemented.. Following up on Quality Assurance improvement planner including proactive PIP management and progress tracking.. Providing support to the BOSS team to process the waivers and follow up with hotels for additional information or discussion as needed.. Working closely with the Openings team to support the Luxury openings. This includes but is not limited to the roll-out and activation of the brand programs, assisting with the delivery of the luxury brand immersion, providing updates for the Roadmap tool as needed, developing resources to support the Openings team on luxury topics, reviewing the Commercial Activation Tool for full implementation of luxury-specific activities, creating content for meetings with various stakeholders.. Leading the positioning work for LXR Hotels & Resorts joining the portfolio, working closely with the Brand Marketing and Brand Personality teams.. Partnering with the Luxury Brand Personality team to identify support needs and provide the relevant program(s) as needed.. Educating hotels and the regional support teams on luxury programs and ensuring that they have access to luxury-specific resources and information about the luxury programs.. Assisting in developing and implementing Luxury brand programs, procedures, tools, processes and policies, as well as the relevant documentation and resources as needed.. Supporting the development and day-to-day execution of the overall brand strategy and all brand initiatives, in collaboration with key partners.. Preparing and delivering professional and effective communications to convey brand strategy, brand initiatives, and brand performance to a variety of audiences.. Supporting the Senior Director, Luxury Brands in communicating the brand vision both internally and externally.. Creating presentations and contributing content for events, meetings and reports.. Assisting with ad-hoc Luxury projects for the whole EMEA region and/or supporting properties outside of Middle East & Africa as needed.What are we looking forTo successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:. High level of proficiency working with Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel, including presentation creation and delivery.. Excellent communication skills including the ability to identify message points for presentation and ability to proactively identify appropriate opportunities to share those messages with all constituent groups, as well as relate and adjust to the audience. Ability to present information persuasively and in a conscientious manner while being an effective spokesperson for the brand.. Excellent written and oral communication skills.To fulfil this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:. University Degree or experience in lieu of. Significant experience in the hospitality industry. Demonstrable supervisory Experience. Global/cross-cultural experience.. Experience in hotel operations and commercial understanding. Additional Requirements: Ability to travel internationally as required.It will be advantageous in this position if you demonstrate the following capabilities and advantages:. Experience having working at a luxury hotel brand or in the luxury sector. Corporate experience. Fluency in one additional language (Arabic would be particularly advantageous)
