Job Description

The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is a unique international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.The VIE is a specific contract, under Business Frances eligibility criteria.VIE Main Requirements:- European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old.- Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any.For more information: (in English, German, Italian and Spanish)The contract duration of this VIE is between planned for 24 months.A VIE for a Business Financial Controlling has arisen within Airbus Africa and Middle EastDubai (EAU).You will join the Finance department. Integrating a multicultural team of a dozen people, you will interact with the following departments: Accounting, Controlling, Tax and Internal Control. The topics covered cover the Africa and Middle East region and several legal entities of the Airbus Group, in the Defense and Space, Helicopters and Commercial divisions.Tasks & accountabilitiesYour main tasks will include:

  • Support for Controlling activities on the regional perimeter
  • Improvement of budgetary processes on SAP
  • Other transversal projects
This role will involve frequent travel for business in the Middle East (especially in Saudi Arabia) and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.Required skillsYou have the following skills and experience:
  • Masters degree (or equivalent) in Corporate Finance or Audit or Business Administration.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in corporate finance or auditing in industry (including apprenticeships and internships).
  • Knowledge of the aeronautics and defense sector.
  • Efficiency in using Office tools and Google Suite.
  • First knowledge of SAP.
in addition you are capable to demonstrate the following skills:
  • Ability to interact in an international environment
  • Interpersonal skills (role of business partner with operational functions)
  • Analytical skills, ability to intervene on several subjects at the same time
  • Language skills: English (professional use)
