Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Purchasing Specialist with expertise in the natural materials field to join our team. As a Purchasing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of natural materials, ensuring timely delivery, and negotiating contracts with suppliers. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in purchasing natural materials, excellent negotiation skills, and a thorough understanding of the industry.Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential suppliers of natural materials.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing and delivery terms.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their natural materials purchasing needs and requirements.
  • Create and manage purchase orders for natural materials.
  • Monitor inventory levels and work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers regarding quality, quantity, or delivery.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and availability of natural materials.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines for material procurement and storage.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and conduct regular performance evaluations.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost reduction strategies.
  • Study and check purchase orders in the concerned body in accordance with the purchasing regulations.
  • Direct purchase of materials and goods in accordance with regulations.
  • Prepare and distribute tenders, gather supply offers, form and follow up the study teams, review the results of the study, and award the purchase order to the most suitable offer in accordance with the rules and regulations.
  • Receive purchases, match quantities and specifications, and check financial claims.
  • Prepare, submit, document and archive work?s reports.
Preferred Candidate:Proven work experience as a Purchasing Specialist in the natural materials industry.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Excellent knowledge of material procurement processes and industry regulations.Ability to analyze market trends and make informed purchasing decisions.Proficiency in using purchasing software and tools.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Knowledge of safety and regulatory guidelines for material procurement and storage.Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
