Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and passionate ICT/Coding Teacher to join our team in Cairo, Egypt. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information and communication technology (ICT) and coding, as well as experience in teaching or tutoring. As an ICT/Coding Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive lessons to students, fostering their interest in technology and developing their coding skills. This role requires excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.Responsibilities:

  1. Design and deliver ICT and coding lessons to students, ensuring the curriculum meets educational standards and objectives.
  2. Teach students various coding languages, such as Python, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS, and guide them in creating their own projects.
  3. Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
  4. Provide constructive feedback and assessments to students, helping them track their progress and improve their coding skills.
  5. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting student engagement and participation.
  6. Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in ICT and coding education, incorporating new technologies and tools into lessons.
  7. Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching practices.
  8. Communicate with parents or guardians regarding student progress and address any concerns or questions.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Minimum 2-4 years of experience in teaching ICT and coding.
  2. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  3. Strong knowledge and practical experience in coding languages, such as Python, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS.
  4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  5. Passion for technology and coding, with a commitment to fostering students interest in the subject.
  6. Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting student engagement and participation.
  7. Experience in using educational technology tools and platforms for teaching and assessment.
  8. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively plan and deliver lessons.
