Job Description

Gulf Roc is currently looking to expand its team with an in-house accountant in Dubai, UAE. This position comes with the option of working remotely as long as the candidate is online and can be reached when necessary. The candidate can also work from the company office.Responsibilities of the candidate include:

  • Maintenance of accurate and up-to-date financial records for all financial transactions˙using ZohoBooks
  • Issue supplier and customer invoices in a timely manner
  • Conduct periodic reconciliations of all accounts for accuracy
  • Prepare letters, documents, forms and reports
  • Develop and maintain filing system and procedures for record retention.
  • Process payroll in a timely and accurate manner, and maintain all related records
  • Assist auditor in conducting an annual evaluation of company records.
  • Understand and perform the financial closing activity on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Publish financial statements in time.
  • Comply with and keep abreast of developments in UAE legal requirements
