Regional Account ManagerThis position works out of our UAE location in the Abbott Point of Care divisionAbout Diagnostics DivisionWere empowering smarter medical and economic decision making to help transform the way people manage their health at all stages of life. Every day, more than 10 million tests are run on Abbotts diagnostics instruments, providing lab results for millions of people.Our Point of Care diagnostic portfolio spans key heath and therapeutic areas, including infections disease, cardiometabolic, informatics and toxicology.As Regional Account Manager, youll-
  • Increase sales and market share of Abbott Point of Care Products.
  • Establish strong relationships with a broad base of internal and external health care constituents (e.g., united Purchas committee, Armament Authority, Pathologist, Clinicians, Laboratory Professionals etc) acting in a friendly, respectful, adaptive manner and focusing on the needs and interests of others.
  • Keep current on internal and competitive products and positioning by utilizing a variety of resources. Understand and convey information professionally and accurately.
  • Effectively plan for and following through with short and long term results based on business trends by developing plans that include goals, action plans, time frames and the appropriate resources.
  • Keep current in market trends and competitors strategy.
What Youll Do:
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system.
  • Conveying information clearly and concisely that conveys ideas, answers questions and responds to others and listens carefully to understand the message.
  • Positions products and services using appropriate resources and confident, convincing logic tailoring sales approach to meet customer needs by utilizing appropriate resources, handling disagreements and objections by exploring perspectives and tactfully addressing them.
  • Gives instrument demonstrations to the customers. Solves instrument problems which occur during a visit right away.
  • Develops and implements plans for territory (Kuwait) that include goals, action plans, time frames and resources.
  • Full responsibility to Manage and increase the business in his region.
  • Regularly tracks and reports progress against plan, redirecting efforts as necessary.
  • Completes all administrative tasks accurately and in a timely fashion. Collects information on competitors sales, prices, benefits and products
Required Qualifications:1.Preferably with 4-6Years experience in sales directly dealing with customers.2.The candidate will be Kuwait Based and will need to have a valid visa3.Preferred to have industry knowledge4.Ability to adjust to diverse cultural setup5.Ability of third box thinking and innovation6.High level of problem-solving skills and diligent follower of policies and procedures of Abbott 7.Has a good computer experience8.
