Description :Grade Level: L1Location: IslamabadLast date to apply: 21st March 2024What is Specialist Accounts Payable - Payments?The purpose of this position is to efficiently and accurately process payments in the Accounts Payable department, while ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures. The role also involves identifying process improvement opportunities, implementing automation solutions, and providing support to the AP management team. The Accounts Payable Specialist is expected to contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of AP processes and provide excellent customer service.What Specialist Accounts Payable - Payments does?

  • Ensure review and process of payments against valid due invoices after scrutiny accordingly to related processes.
  • To Facilitate internal & external customers in end-to-end process.
  • Taxation Law, Financial compliance & International Accounting Standards.
  • Accounting information systems, Transactional Accounting & Closing processes.
  • Payment processing with parameters i.e. bank, amount, conversion rates etc.
  • Day to day dealing with authorized signatories and local banks for transactions completeness.
  • Accounts payables reporting and aging analyses.
  • Communication with stake holders for queries, statuses.
Service Management:,
  • Ensure compliance with all Jazz policies.
  • Demonstrate responsible attitude, creativity, and critical thinking in daily tasks.
  • Regularly discuss processes with Team Lead for clarity and understanding.
Operational Excellence:
  • Review existing processes critically and contribute to their efficiency and customer-centricity.
  • Gather feedback from stakeholders and propose solutions with AP checks and controls in mind.
  • Identify and address customer concerns, seeking remedies in collaboration with AP management.
  • Ensure accurate and seamless invoice/payment processing to meet defined KPIs.
  • Develop actions for automation and process optimization to improve monthly KPIs.

  • MBA/MS in Accounting & Finance or membership in a professional accounting body.
  • 2-3 years of relevant work area, focusing on Finance Process Automation and optimization.
  • Knowledge of Taxation Law, Financial compliance, and International Accounting Standards.
Required Skills:
  • Troubleshooting, investigation, and implementing process improvement solutions.
  • Monitoring service levels/KPIs and taking corrective actions as needed.
  • Understanding of Accounts Payable best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Oracle ERP.
