Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Execution of Urban and Master planning projects according to the scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Manage the team in executing the project deliverables and provide guidance and directives to ensure successful completion.
  • Leverage expertise in Planning projects and provide the appropriate actions for the team to follow in all phases of the project.
  • Ensure timely resolution of project issues arising in all phases of the project development.
  • Implement company initiatives in projects and business processes.
  • Be fully familiar with company Key Performance Indices (KPIs) and achieve them for the project.
  • Prepare/Review monthly project progress reports showing the status of the design, milestones, commitments, payments, charges, variances from standards, waivers and problems and present them to higher management.
  • Able to create and review planning projects scope of work, technical and fee proposal in coordination with the planning department, the client team, and the project consortium team.
  • Review and evaluate the technical proposal from other consultants and provide feedback and list of comments.
  • Prepare, adjust and review the Project Time Schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned project progress and challenges, as well as Financial balance sheets.
  • Anticipate and plan for changes in project scope, timing, or costs. Prepare documentation and obtain management approval.
  • Oversee and review incoming and outgoing correspondence concerning projects assigned.
  • Ensure that proper job records are maintained on all assigned projects.
  • Negotiate agreements and change orders with Clients / Project Consortium team and execution.
  • Guide and direct team members in the application of Saudi regulation and Standards.
  • Responsibility for project development: planning studies and analysis, selection, technical bid reviews, preliminary engineering, detail design, etc.
  • Manage preparing and review urban design guidelines for several scales of planning projects.
  • Attend project meetings e.g. progress, stakeholders, design review, value improvement, and prepare, adjust and review the Meeting minutes and notes.
  • Uphold and maintain high standards of professional behavior and conduct.
