Job Description

We are searching for a talented and qualified optometrist to join our Organization. As an optometrist, you will be expected to use your skills and knowledge to provide high-quality vision care to our patients.˙Your duties will include conducting eye examinations, prescribing corrective lenses.˙To qualify for this role, you must be state-licensed.Responsibilities

  • Optometrists examine eyes and treat vision problems, usually by prescribing eyeglasses or contact lenses, vision therapy, or rehabilitation programs.
  • Examine patients eyes with retinoscopes, to see how patients react to lenses of different strengths.
  • Use Ophthalmoscopes to see the inside of the eye.
  • Make diagnoses, such as nearsightedness or farsightedness, and prescribe lenses or other treatments.
  • Refer patients to ophthalmologists when necessary.
  • Discover eye conditions caused by systemic problems, such as diabetes or high blood pressure, and refer their patients to other medical doctors.
