Job Description

About this role:

  • The Petrophysics Expert will be responsible for providing expert advice on petrophysical analysis across all types of well logs, log-to-core integration, type-based permeability equations for both core and non-core wells, saturation-height function modeling using both core and log data in both clastic and carbonate reservoirs
  • The successful candidate will also provide guidance on any relevant issues that may arise during the project.
What you need to bring:
  • Minimum of 20 years of experience in integrated petrophysical analysis across all types of well logs, log-to-core integration, type-based permeability equations for both core and non-core wells, saturation-height function modeling using both core and log data in both clastic and carbonate reservoirs
  • Previous experience in Kuwaiti reservoirs is a significant advantage
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proven problem solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of relevant software packages such as Petrel or Geolog is an asset.
