In this role, you will take the designs created by web designers and code those designs using a mix of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery. You will also work on different PHP, CMSs and Frameworks (WordPress, Magento, Shopify, etc). You will work closely with various members of the organization to play a key role in the successful launch of websites and applications.?Education and Professional Qualification:

  • Degree(s)/Major(s): Bachelors or Masters in a relevant field from a reputed local/foreign University.
  • Certification(s): Not mandatory but certification in web development is a plus.
Experience:
  • Minimum 1 years of proven working experience in a related field.

Responsibilities:
  • Review designs created by web designers; ask any necessary clarifying questions before starting work.
  • Write code to implement those visual elements into various web pages.
  • Convert web pages into CMSs like WordPress, Magento, etc.
  • Optimize websites and applications to ensure fast loading speeds.
  • Maintain websites and implement any necessary additions or enhancements.
  • Identify and troubleshoot various website issues and coding problems.
  • Collaborate with members of the website team (including designers and back-end developers) to consistently improve the functionality and user-friendliness of the web applications.
  • Evaluating code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.
  • Maintaining an understanding of the latest Web applications and programming practices.
  • Determining user needs by analyzing technical requirements.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of the development industry and any advancements in technology.
  • Meet tight deadlines as required.
  • Performing other relevant tasks as per requirement.
Requirements
  • Understanding the entire web development process, with an emphasis on design and development.
  • Solid grasp of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and various PHP content management systems (WordPress, Magento).
  • Proficiency in translating design concepts into HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with designers, developers, and other relevant staff members.
  • Willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing instructions and requirements.
