Summary: The Staff Facilities Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, functionality, and overall appearance of the facilities within a hospitality establishment. This role is essential to ensure a positive guest experience and a well-organized work environment for the staff Approachable and friendly individual who is willing to assist staff members. Facility attendant will oversee cleanliness of all community recreational facilities.Key Responsibilities: Facilities Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of all public and staff facilities (restrooms, break rooms, corridors, etc.) to ensure they are clean, well-maintained, and properly stocked. Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces to maintain a high standard of cleanliness. Report and address any maintenance issues, such as broken fixtures, leaks, or malfunctioning equipment, to the appropriate department for timely resolution. Assist with basic repairs and maintenance tasks as required. Supply Management: Monitor and restock essential supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, cleaning products, etc.) in both guest and staff areas. Maintain an organized inventory of cleaning supplies and notify the management when supplies need to be replenished. Waste Management: Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in designated areas, ensuring compliance with waste disposal guidelines and regulations. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of waste disposal areas to uphold a tidy and hygienic environment. Guest Experience: Ensure that public areas, such as lobbies and restrooms, are consistently clean and well-presented to create a positive impression on guests. Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns related to facilities cleanliness and functionality. Collaboration: Coordinate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure a seamless operation and address any cross-functional issues. Assist in training new staff members on proper facility maintenance protocols. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe environment for both guests and staff. Follow established protocols for handling and disposing of cleaning chemicals and hazardous waste. Maintain awareness of emergency procedures and act promptly in case of incidents or emergencies. Documentation: Keep accurate records of daily tasks, maintenance activities, and supply usage. Prepare reports on facility conditions, maintenance activities, and any issues that require attention from management. Qualifications and Skills: Housekeeping experience is preferable High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in hospitality or facilities management are a plus. Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization. Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and minor repairs. Good communication skills to effectively interact with guests and colleagues. Physical fitness to perform tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and prolonged periods of standing.
