Executive Director Arena DevelopmentThe Management Recruitment GroupRelocation Opportunity Kingdom of Saudi ArabiaPermanent, full-timeAbout the role:Working for one of Saudi Arabia s leading developers, a PIF-backed giga-project based in Riyadh, KSA.As the Executive Director Arena Development reporting to the Head of Development Sports, you will play a pivotal role in leading the development of state-of-the-art stadiums and venues for a variety of sports and live events.Responsibilities Lead the planning and development of stadiums and venues, including site selection, design, construction, and commissioning phases. Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop innovative and functional stadium designs that meet the needs of clients and end-users. Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery. Oversee the procurement process for materials, equipment, and services required for stadium development projects. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, building codes, and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle. Provide strategic guidance and leadership to project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth and achieve customer satisfaction. Adaptability: The esports industry evolves rapidly. Being adaptable and open to change will help in staying ahead of trends and maintaining relevance.Qualifications: Bachelors degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or related field. Masters degree preferred. Proven experience in managing large-scale stadium development projects from concept to completion. Strong technical expertise in stadium design, construction, and project management. Tech-Savviness: Esports heavily rely on technology. Understanding the technical aspects of gaming setups, streaming platforms, and network infrastructure is essential. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of relevant regulations, codes, and standards governing stadium construction and safety.
