Job Description

Job Summary:The GSE Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for managing and coordinating the maintenance and repair activities of Ground Support Equipment to ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment supporting aviation and ground operations. This role involves supervising a team of maintenance technicians, scheduling maintenance tasks, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.Responsibilities:1- Supervision and Leadership:

  • Lead and supervise a team of GSE maintenance technicians.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to technicians.
  • Foster a culture of safety, efficiency, and teamwork within the maintenance team.
2- Maintenance Planning and Scheduling:
  • Plan and schedule routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repairs for all GSE.
  • Coordinate with operational teams to minimize downtime and disruptions to ground operations.
3- Diagnostic and Troubleshooting:
  • Oversee diagnostic and troubleshooting activities to identify and address equipment issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with maintenance technicians to determine the root cause of problems and implement effective solutions.
4- Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repair activities.
  • Prepare regular reports on equipment status, maintenance trends, and performance.
5- Compliance and Safety:
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards, regulations, and manufacturer specifications.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures in the maintenance environment.
6- Inventory Management:
  • Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment needed for GSE maintenance.
  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure the availability of necessary supplies.
7- Training and Development:
  • Identify training needs for maintenance staff and facilitate training programs.
  • Stay updated on new technologies and industry best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in GSE maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Knowledge of aviation regulations and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in using maintenance management software.
