Job Description

Position: Quality Control /Quality Assurance - IT BankingLocation: Saudi ArabiaPosition Type: Full-timeRole Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Audit Specialist to join our IT banking team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring adherence to audit standards and best practices across IT systems and processes, with a focus on quality control, compliance, and continuous improvement. This role requires expertise in audit methodologies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards relevant to the banking sector, including ISO, PCI DSS, PIR, and Stage Gate Inspection.Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct regular audits and assessments of IT systems, processes, and controls to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
  2. Develop and maintain audit plans, schedules, and checklists based on established audit standards and guidelines, including ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and Process Improvement Review (PIR).
  3. Perform detailed reviews of documentation, procedures, and technical configurations to identify gaps, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
  4. Lead root cause analysis investigations to determine the underlying causes of issues, incidents, or non-compliance findings, and recommend corrective actions.
  5. Coordinate and facilitate Stage Gate Inspections at key milestones throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure quality and compliance with project requirements.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, document, and standardize processes and procedures related to quality assurance, quality control, and risk management.
  7. Implement and maintain a Quality Management System (QMS) to support the ongoing monitoring, measurement, and improvement of IT processes and performance.
  8. Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of quality assurance activities and track progress against established goals.
  9. Provide guidance and support to project teams on quality assurance methodologies, tools, and best practices, including Continuous Lifecycle Management (CLM).
  10. Drive process definition and re-engineering initiatives to streamline workflows, optimize resource utilization, and enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in quality assurance, audit, or compliance roles, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of audit standards and frameworks, including ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and Process Improvement Review (PIR).
  • Proficiency in conducting root cause analysis, risk assessments, and quality control reviews.
  • Familiarity with Stage Gate Inspection methodologies and their application within the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Experience in implementing and managing Quality Management Systems (QMS) and process improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of driving process definition and re-engineering efforts to achieve measurable improvements in quality and efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in quality management or audit standards (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Certified Information Systems Auditor - CISA).
  • Knowledge of Continuous Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools and methodologies.
  • Experience with process modeling and optimization tools (e.g., BPMN, Lean Six Sigma).
  • Familiarity with agile and DevOps practices in software development
