Preference for these jobs, is for Australia and New Zealand natives, or people currently based in Australia and New Zealand.We are seeking a Lead Financial Analyst/Consultant to join the Financial Institution Management Division (FIMD) of Treasurys Capital Markets & Financing Department.The Financial Specialist leads and advises on treasury matters related to Companies bank relationships (investment banking), banking research, and financial advisory mandates. The successful candidate is expected to provide significant support to Companys Treasury focusing on relationship management with banks and separately, associated research requests from Companys management.The role is suitable for professionals with investment banking experience as this area of Treasury awards financial advisory mandates to banks, requiring in depth knowledge of the investment banking field in order to assess, select and negotiate with prominent bankers.The professional is expected to perform coordination and other day-to-day duties and ad- hoc requests as they are required from management.Responsibilities: You will be required to perform the following: Apply your analytical ability, aptitude for numbers, and problem-solving skills to the operations. Apply your experience with research related to world economic events. Leverage your banking relationship management and relationship evaluation to the role. Apply your team skills and cross-functional experience to deliver an effective solution. Deliver clear communication skills, both verbal and writing. Have excellent and proven negotiation skills.Education & Requirements As the successful candidate, you will hold a MBA or equivalent with a CFA accreditation. You will have ten years experience in Investment Banking.Company Benefits Permanent Employment on an Indefinite Term Employment Agreement.
