Job Description

Title:Instrumentations and Controls Department ManagerJob RequirementWe are looking for Instrumentations and Controls Department Manager to be based in Abu Dhabi - UAERoles and responsibility

  • Establishes and maintains the technical standards within the discipline. Sets strategic and tactical direction with regard to policy/procedures, work force staffing, and budgeting.
  • Responsibilities include the management of the design, specification and services related to control systems including basic process control systems, safety systems, control panels, analyzer systems, telecommunications, field instrumentation, and valves etc. Including advanced controls optimization.
  • Establishes and maintains the technical standards within the discipline.
  • Conceives and develops creative/innovative technology critical to the companys success.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Requirements are an undergraduate degree in Engineering and a minimum of 15 years Oil and Gas Upstream / Mid Stream / Downstream related experience, with average experience of 20+ years.
  • Candidate is expected to hold a certification as a Licensed/Chartered Professional Engineer.
  • Candidate should demonstrate ability to conceive of and develop creative/innovative technology critical to the companys success.
  • Candidate should demonstrate strong inter personal skills as well as good technical knowledge of Instrument discipline scope .
