Finance Officer - Jordan?This is an exciting time to be joining WFD.?Reporting to the Country Representative, Jordan, the Finance Officer will be responsible for the accurate and efficient management of financial procedures, developing financial reports and for ensuring excellent communication on, and co-ordination of, important financial information such as forecasts and expenditure.Envisaged to start in January 2024, the programme will support the Jordanian House of Representatives to strengthen its legislative and oversight roles, as well as its outreach to, and inclusion of, women and youth.The Finance Officer will play a critical role in assisting WFD to deliver an EU-funded consortium programme in Jordan. They will be responsible for ensuring an accountable and accurate approach to handling programme finances across the full programme cycle. The Finance Officer will also support financial aspects relating to the development and implementation of new donor-funded projects and programmes, as required.The Finance Officer is part of the Jordan country team which sits under the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regional team within WFD?s Policy and Programmes Directorate.
