Programme Assistant - Jordan?This is an exciting time to be joining WFD.Reporting to the Country Director Jordan, the Programme Assistant will support the full programme cycle from start-up to closure.Envisaged to start in January 2024, the programme will support the Jordanian House of Representatives to strengthen its legislative and oversight roles, as well as its outreach to, and inclusion of, women and youth.The Programme Assistant will support the smooth-running of WFD?s office in Jordan, including the day-to-day delivery of activities under a 3-year EU-funded consortium programme. They will be involved in a variety of administrative and operational tasks including procurement, financial administration, logistics, travel and event management, information management, and systems and processes support.The Programme Assistant is part of the Jordan country team which sits under the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regional team within WFD?s Policy and Programmes Directorate.
