Our clients include leading Consultancies, Fortune 500 companies, Governments, and NGOs.About this roleAs the knowledge management specialist, you will oversee all knowledge-related activities, including the management, capturing, sharing, and accessibility of knowledge assets. You will be required to work with internal and external stakeholders to promote and optimize the usage of the organization?s knowledge assets.What you will do:

  • Build relationships across the organization to establish an internal awareness and understanding of KM and the corresponding user needs for Marketing, Business development & various business lines.
  • Promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing through defining, supporting, and encouraging the use of knowledge to employees of all skill levels and roles
  • Promote knowledge capture and reuse through operational and business processes capture and distill experience and insight for reuse to improve performance
  • Provide internal training and consulting on KM concepts and methodologies
Who you are:
  • At least 2 years? experience in knowledge creation, research, and documentation management
  • Detailed & process-oriented, with a natural ability for storytelling.
  • Display strong leadership and effective interpersonal skills, confident and effective communicator able to work well with cross-functional teams to accomplish objectives.
  • Good appreciation of user needs at both operational and strategic levels.
  • Possesses an understanding of the principles of knowledge management
  • Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing technology environment and to work on multiple work streams and projects simultaneously.
  • Possess excellent organization, written, and verbal skills to convey global project goals and inspire support from both subordinates and senior management.
Competencies:
  • Follow up with delivery managers to receive the project deliverables
  • Create case studies (Client stories) by sector, location, by activity.
  • Sanitize the research deliverables.
  • Administrate the knowledge management tool: Be the go-to person for the selected software.
  • Contribute to then lead the knowledge management process and initiate ways to improve in scope and scale.
  • Controlling the accessibility and flow of knowledge within the organization and to external parties
  • Helping capture new knowledge with the usage of a knowledge base through an adequate tagging system for all company knowledge assets
  • Provide internal training and consulting on KM concepts and methodologies
Growth aspects:Succeeding in this role will lead to a knowledge manager role.You will then:
  • Ensure that knowledge technologies are up-to-date and working according to function, as well as ensure that employees are not misusing company tech infrastructure.
  • Monitor progress by leveraging analytics to assess the impact, engagement, functionality, and effectiveness of knowledge management strategy.
  • Providing relevant coaching, training, and support to champion a knowledge management culture.
  • Hire, train & lead a team of KM representatives that will perform the knowledge management processes.
  • Help disseminate information about the organizations knowledge-sharing program to internal and external audiences, maintain communications on knowledge-sharing across the organization, and participate in orientation, and training sessions.
