Job Description

WPPCO Contractor in Dammam is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Water Infrastructure Welder to contribute to our team. As a Water Infrastructure Welder, you will play a vital role in the construction and maintenance of water-related infrastructure projects. Your expertise in welding and fabrication will be crucial in ensuring the integrity and durability of our water systems.Key Responsibilities:

  1. Welding and Fabrication: Perform welding and fabrication tasks on various components of water infrastructure projects, including pipelines, tanks, and other structures.
  2. Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to understand project specifications and welding requirements.
  3. Material Preparation: Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, and cleaning, to ensure proper fit and adherence to project specifications.
  4. Welding Techniques: Utilize various welding techniques, such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, to join and repair metal components effectively.
  5. Quality Control: Conduct inspections and quality control checks on welded components to ensure they meet industry standards and project specifications.
  6. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.
  7. Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including engineers, project managers, and fellow welders, to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines.
  8. Equipment Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on welding equipment to ensure its proper functioning and report any issues promptly.
  9. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of welding activities, including materials used, welding parameters, and inspections, to document project progress.
  10. Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and address any welding-related issues or challenges that may arise during the course of a project.
