Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an HEC recognized institute/university.
Experience:
Minimum of 7 years experience in civil and finishing works for high-rise buildings.
Proven experience in construction project management.
Responsibilities:
Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings, specifications for civil and finishing works.
Prepare detailed work plans and schedules for assigned areas.
Provide close coordination with Project Consultants and Contractors on behalf of the Client to resolve any discrepancies in drawings/specifications during execution of work.
Provide close coordination with the Head office team for the supply and procurement of Owner-supplied items.
Provide close coordination with the Contractor?s team for the supply and procurement of Contractor-supplied items.
Support the Site Quantity Surveyor in checking bills, contractor claims with respect to BOQ, and executed work done.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control to meet Consultant?s and Client?s requirements.
Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to civil construction and finishing works.
Maintain accurate records and document all inspections and corrective actions.
Prepare and submit progress reports to the Project Manager.
Participate in site meetings and discussions with other project stakeholders and prepare minutes of the meeting for onward circulation.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures on the construction site.
Contribute to the development and implementation of quality control procedures.
Skills Required:
Strong understanding of building codes and construction standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and other relevant construction software.
Stay up-to-date on the latest construction methods and materials for high-rise buildings.
Must be a team player who can work in close coordination with the project management team.
Maintain a professional and positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
