PurposeThe H&S Officer is accountable for providing field safety services at the Jazan Integrated Gasification & Power Company (JIGPC). The incumbent is a key member of the JIGPC H&S Team and reports to the Personnel H&S Manager.The H&S Officer is a highly interactive role for a health and safety professional. The position requires someone with practical industrial experience as well as a strong leadership and interpersonal skills. You will interface with a contingent of internal and external customers while proving H&S services to the assigned operating unit. The incumbent would provide direct field support on a broad array of activities specific to Worker Health and Safety and ensure employee/business compliance and alignment to JIGPC policies and all applicable legal/regulatory requirements.Nature & ScopeIn this roll, H&S officer encouraged to quickly become familiar with the JIGPC policies, internal and external customers and contribute to developing a self-sufficient safety organization at the world?s largest Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle facility.The incumbent will be responsible for promoting a culture of safe working habits, and improving safety performance. In addition, the incumbent will assist with planning, establishing, implementing and maintaining a wide variety of activities encompassing all aspects of occupational safety, to assure the highest possible degree of safety for our employees, contractors and the community in which we operate.Principal accountabilities
