This position requires interfacing with a large contingent of contractors and customers.Customers can be internal JIGPC Project Delivery functions or external JIGPC and include disciplines such as EH&S, Engineering, Business, and Operating & Manufacturing facilities.The individual is required to have an ability to work within a diverse business environment and coach/influence various levels of employees to value and adhere to the JIGPC Project Delivery EHS culture.This is a highly interactive role for an experienced environmental, health and safety professional and the position requires someone with practical industrial and project field experience as well as strong leadership and communications skills. The successful candidate would guide and provide project EHS support on a broad array of activities specific to the Project Delivery scope to ensure continuous employee and environmental safety as well as full compliance with all JIGPC EHS policies and standards.II.˙NATURE AND SCOPETo act as a competent person for EHS, provide general EHS support and counsel.To provide guidance, expertise, and technical support to operations management and employee led safety and environmental committees in the identification, measurement and control of EHS risks.To analyze and understand projects activities, determining their impact on plant process safety, employee safety, health and the environment, and work with plant Operations personnel to develop and comply with EHS policies and procedures.To develop, implement, train, counsel and enforce EHS policies and procedures consistent with JIGPC Project Delivery requirements.III. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIESThis position is accountable for the following end results:˙
Good English communication skills, written and verbal.
Guide and support Project Managers on EHS queries, concerns, and compliance criteria.
High risk or abnormal activity consultation (confined space, hot work, working at height, lifting, complex safety activities, etc.)
Development and/or review of JIGPC Project Delivery EHS documentation and processes in alignment with JIGPC Operations and Saudi Aramco?s best practices EHS policies & standards.
Provide support to Project Delivery EHS function and project teams to ensure compliance with JIGPC and Aramco EHS standards as well as legal EHS regulations.
Support and assist the Project Delivery Site EHS Manager with any special assignments or functional projects.
Coordinate EHS team tasks and monitor functional performance quality.
Development of site improvement plans stemming from EHS inspections, audits or any other form of EHS assessments.
Project Delivery EHS Program training, coaching and assessments.
Performing subject-specific process and system EHS audits.
Incident reporting, investigation and facilitation (RCA).
Emergency response preparation and compliance.
Injury Management/Medical Issues.
Routine review of trend analysis and remedial action validation.
Provide guidance on Project Delivery EHS requirements to all projects Contractors and monitor compliance with it.
Driving consistency across all JIGPC entities in the introduction and implementation of Project Delivery EHS˙processes˙and systems.
