Job Description

Overview Position HSSE Sr. Manager Job Code Reports to Director Direct Reports Leads, Specialists and Advisors Division Projects Department Projects Facilities Management Role Purpose The HSSE Sr Manager is responsible for developing and implementing all organizational programs related to health, safety, security and environment. He/She will be specialized in leading a team of specialists to review and update institutional HSE policies and conduct risk assessments to detect potential hazards and plan precautionary measures.Key Accountabilities & Activities Key Responsibilities

  • Implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with NEOM regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure all employees are aware of and trained in emergency response procedures.
  • Prepare and submit reports regarding HSSE performance and progress to the PFM management.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to implement NEOM security protocols and technologies.
  • Conduct regular audits to assess the effectiveness of health, safety, security and environment programs.
  • Communicate regularly with employees and management regarding health, safety, security and environment matters.
  • Provides necessary direction and guidance to meet NEOM requirements in the field of air emissions, industrial wastewater, and industrial waste sectors.
  • Develop environmental schedules and action plans to ensure all environmental requirements including inspections, audits and emergency response are listed as appropriate at intervals of time.
  • Conduct training, awareness sessions and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention to educate people and mitigate risks.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Deep understanding of international standards of HSSE
  • Strong knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment.
  • Exceptional Team Leadership
  • Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in engineering or any occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, plus a related field between 12-15 years of experience.
  • OSHA or NEBOSH Certified (higher level)
