Job Description

The Commercial Specialist will provide commercial support to the Commercial team and assist the Commercial Manager with product listing, catalogue management and product sourcing. Specifically, the colleague holding this position will be expected to work with suppliers, distributors and photographers to ensure that Fedshi has a large and high quality assortment of products.This role provides a fantastic development opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual that has a knack for organisational and administrative work. The right individual for this role will need to demonstrate ability to provide a high-quality administrative service, a keen interest in managing projects, as well as considerable initiative, a strong willingness to learn on the job and a commitment to continuous improvement.Content Creation

  • Create content for the listed products that is fit for Fedshi?s concept and to enable resellers to engage and convert sales
  • Collect and analyse sales data and optimize content creation to improve traffic and conversion metrics for SKUs
  • Identify, train and collaborate with photographers and videographers to produce relevant content to scale content production in a frugal manner, creating relevant content for the market
  • Research and identify online selling trends in Iraq and regionally and introduce new content for Fedshi?s assortment and resellers community˙
Product listing
  • Liaise with suppliers, photographers, content creators and other stakeholders to gather content for products that will be listed on the platform
  • Upload products (images, videos, copy) to the platform using the back-end systems of the platform, following existing guidelines and ensuring the highest degree of quality and accuracy
  • Update listings of existing products with new images, videos and copy to ensure adherence to latest guidelines and the highest degree of quality and accuracy
  • Execute business-led commercial and operational changes to the catalogue including pricing and inventory changes
  • Research best practices of catalogues in e-commerce platforms and optimise the guidelines content of the existing catalogue accordingly˙˙
  • Maintain and distribute periodic reports on the performance of the catalogue, and suggest improvements based on the insights
