Accountable for:

Ensuring required levels of control & reporting are according to credit policies & procedures.
Ensuring all excesses are documented & approved within stated timeframes and guidelines.
Ensuring tracking, following-up and reporting of corrective actions of the :

Internal AuditCentral BankExternal auditors

Key Roles:

Ensure post-approval compliance with guidelines, policies & procedures, & terms of approval
(post-approval only).
Ensure daily monitoring reports are generated, followed -up & filed appropriately.
Identify &report trends that may affect credit decision (account activity type & transaction volume, credit
utilization etc).
Follow-up with business & obtain clarifications for irregularities /issues/early warning & exceptions.
Circulate updated corrective grid of audits on monthly basis to the senior credit officers & other relevant
people in the HO as appropriate.
Ensure following-up regularization of excesses and reporting un-authorized excesses to the senior credit
officer of the region in case of non-regularization.
Prepare special reports section & ensure their accuracy to be passed to the concerned authorities in a
timely manner.
