Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forging Manager to join our team. As a Forging Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the forging process, ensuring the production of top-quality forged products that meet customer specifications and industry standards.Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise the forging operations, including planning, organizing, and controlling the production process.
  • Monitor and optimize the use of resources, such as manpower, materials, and equipment, to achieve maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement measures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and improve forging processes, techniques, and equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure that forged products meet customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks in the production process, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Train and develop the forging team, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain accurate production records, including inventory levels, production schedules, and quality control data.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, sales, and quality assurance, to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in forging technology, recommending and implementing improvements as appropriate.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in forging operations, preferably in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of forging processes, techniques, and equipment.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and quality control procedures.
  • Proven leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
